Have 2001 Kawasaki Bayou 220. Low voltage at battery terminals.

Have 2001 Kawasaki Bayou 220. Low voltage to battery (around 2 volts) when running. Battery has completely discharged from lack of enough voltage, so I pull start. Lights work dimly when running, and get slightly brighter when I apply the hand brake. What is causing my low voltage situation?

Hi , what is the correct battery for my kawasaki zx 10 b1 model 1989 ?? please help , iam going through batteries like 2 - 3 per year !! please

The stock battery is Yuasa brand, YB14L-A2. Be sure to keep the water level in the battery above the top of the plates in each cell. Also, check the voltage across the battery terminals while the bike engine is running around 2500rpm. The voltmeter should read around 14.5 volts. If it reads 15 or higher the voltage regulator is probably bad. Please take a moment to rate my answer. Thanks!
