There is an assembly diagram on the link
check all hose clamps are tight, pressure test the cooling system as there may be a hole punched in the radiator or tank
an empty reservoir indicates a fault but the radiator cap is the place to check for coolant level as the reservoir will only get empty if the system needs water on cooling down
If engine does not turn over you need to see if the starter is getting power and if it is any good. Also look for an inline safety switch for the starter that may be stuck in the open position and not allowing the electricity to enter the starter motor.
How old is your gas?
First thing I would do is drain or siphon out as much of the old gas and start with new gas from a gas station not out of a can with >6mos old gas in it. Gas degrades over time, losing its octane and turning to varnish. Do you use Sea Foam or Sta-bil?
Stay away from E rated gasoline especially E15 or E85 if its sold where you live.
SOURCE: I put a winch on my Polaris 2014 sportsman touring 570 and now my check engine light is on, Why!
Have the system scanned and find out what the fault code is for that was set when the light came on, that is how it is diagnosed
