Hi, having set the float heights on hundreds of carby's, one common theme was that when the engine and revs and fuel were balanced the float would sit at about halfway of the travel of the pivot. Manually adjusting by holding the carb level and sucking on the fuel inlet with a short length of fuel line.......set the shut-off height at about halfway by bending the height tag on the pivot arm. If under high revs and high load the engine performance is improved with a small amount of choke.......set the float tag slightly higher. You are good to go.
