SOURCE: I have a 2006 kawasaki 650 brute force ATV the belt light is on

if its belt driven, they work off a type of clutch that just puts pressure on the sides of the belt. not usaully adustable, but there are mods, and after market clutches for faster respose and more aggressive take off, if this is what your after.

SOURCE: no key for our kawasaki bayou 220

On the Bayou 220 you have 2 wires from the Ignition Switch. If I was you I would wire them 2 to a toogle switch or push bottom start.

Check ignition switch. Should have power on red wire at all times. If power there check power out of switch.

HOW TO FIX A 2006 BRUTE FORCE NO POWER WHEN TURN ON KEY

Check fuse link under the seat. Look for the main 30 amp fuse. Also, could have shorted wire in the key housing where the key goes into the ignition. Put ohm meter on and check for continuity. this will tell if there is a short in the wiring. Hope this narrows it down for you.

Atv ignition wiring

Primary should be very low, about 1-2 ohms. Secondary would be high-on the order of 7,500 -10,000 ohms. Check with Kawasaki for specific values-what they specify.

2010 Kawasaki 610 mule has no power when key is on and battery is good? There is 12 volts at the starter but nothing happens when you turn on the key switch.

Kawasaki mule 610 new battery but little to no power to solenoid. Fully charged starter makes rapid clicking noise. When attacked to battery jump starter it will start. Mule was running excellent for 2 weeks with new battery. I was told by kawasaki technician it was ignition. Nope thoroughly skimmed inspected wires and see nothing wrong. Technician told me different second time, it's now the starter replaced starter ($450) and still no results I'm at a loss
