Engines only need three things

Good fresh fuel to the engine.

check conections on new parts just had that deal new cdi had one wire that pushed out just enough to lose contact. sounds strange but it happens.

If you have spark at the right time, fuel, air.... you might try a spray of staring fluid. I would then check the compression. If it is too low it will not start.

I would start by pulling and cleaning the carb, air filter and spark plug. Usually the cause starts with dirty air filters that gets the carbs dirty which then cause the polaris to run rich and the plug will start to foul. The unburnt fuel ignites at the wrong time and back fires. A less likely problem would be out of timing.

if the plug/s are wet , that is flooding and that is excessive fuel or float level , probably from a problem in the needle and seat area where the fuel supply is not being controlled
remove the needle and seat and clean all dirt and rubbish from the needle ans seat area
could come from rust and dirt in the tank so consider an inline fuel filter before the carby/s

2 cycle oil wont hurt it a bit,drain the gas out and start fresh,oil is good for a motor,smell the gas,it may smell bad,which means the oil and gas have congieled

If your atv has been sitting this long, the carb is probably stopped up internally... take the carb to a qualified professional and have it cleaned and set...(take a few pictures so you know where all the hoses re-attach)

ALL it takes for an engine to run is:
1. A timed spark
2. Adequate compression
3. Proper fuel/air ratio delivered

The spark plug is on the left side (shifter) of the head,,..?/ this is August.. if the atv has been sitting the carb may need a qualified professional to clean it again.. Replace the spark plug before you squirt anything in the engine...

Did u choke it ? -stroke are very cold blooded Mine(2003) needs a choke after sitting 1/2 hr at 70 degrees.
