Sounds like the throttle position sensor is going bad, take it to a professional and let them trouble shoot it.. it WILL be cheaper in the long run!!
That is a possibility, if it is fuel injected there is a minimum pressure required for it to run. A fule rail gauge is not very expensive and you can find fuel pump testing on Utube.
LOL.. Hey.. yea.. a lot of time, a 10mm wrench, a #2 Phillips head and a 3/16" flat blade screwdriver to pop out the black plugs... do this carefully and not damage them so you can reuse them. This is NOT a hard project.. just TIME consuming, using common sense!!
