STOP holding the starter button down!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.. Its NOT really running..
My first guess is the starter needs some TLC..a professional rebuild..they are not hard to do.
Diagnosing electrical issues over the internet is hard... I will think on this some more and repost if I come up with anything..sorry..
Take fuel cap off to make sure it is getting air to fuel tank. Check fuel valve to make sure it is on. Drain carb with screw on bottom of carb to check for water. Pull spark plug to make sure it is firing.
You need to provide a lot more information about what it DOES do and about what it DOES NOT do and then an answer maybe available. Remember that to start and run an internal combustion engine needs a sufficient spark at the spark plug, sufficient (fresh not old stale fuel) and sufficient compression. GOOD LUCK
Have you checked the Spark Plug ? No Spark & No Fuel means not going to start and run. If you are getting fuel then your Spark plug may need to be cleaned or replaced or even re-gaped. Spark plugs have a tendency to get fouled out. Meaning oil gets on it and it can not throw a good spark. If you do have a good spark then check the choke and or the float in the carb.
could be alot of things but start your daig.by determining if anything has changed fuel related... example.... could some water or bad gas recently been added to your gas tank or has poor fuel made it into your carb.float bowl?? Could some trash from fuel clogged a jet in the carb.? Also,some spark type problems are heat related. i.e. pulse coil generator pick-up
There is an on line forum for the Honda 350 fourtrax.
