Honda TRX420FE ES starts when jumped from external source but dies as soon as either jumper cable is removed. Stopped running abruptly while being ridden.

Have been through nearly, if not completely, every test/check in the SM. Continuities checked, resistance values within standards if range is given except for stator leads. Standard is .1 - 1.0 Ohms @ 68?F my results were 2.2? on all three wires. Current leakage shows 4.57 on 200 microA setting, standard is .1 mA maximum. Current leak disappears if regulator/rectifier battery/ground plug is disconnected. Diodes checked and good. When key is turned on with just the bike's battery result is constant flashing - shift indicator along with N light and corresponding clicking from engine stop/fuel pump relay waterproof. No temp or mil light. Have not found any rubs or cuts in the harness, it's pretty pristine for a 2010. No add on wiring. I am thanking you kindly in advance for any suggestions/feedback!!

Sounds like your battery.. it might show 12+ volts but not have any amperage to push the voltage... Have the battery tested at a battery shop..

Wheeler wont stay running even after it's warmed up. Choking it won't keep it running either. This just started the other day. No issues up to this point.

Remove the play in the throttle by loosening the locking pin on the cable, then pull the cable tight to remove the play and refix the locking nut. Once the play is removed adjust the jet so that its steady at idle.

Power comes on but engine does not turn over or try to start?

If you get a clicking sound, then it is either your starter solenoid or the battery is low. If you simply get nothing, then it is wiring. Use jumper cables and and jump from an external battery. Go "-" to frame and "+" to the battery side of the solenoid. Push the starter button. It should click and send power to the starter. If it doesn't click then the problem lies with the wiring between the solenoid and starter button, or the solenoid itself. If the solenoid did click but the motor didn't turn over, put your "+" jumper cable directly on the starter motor's external contact. If the motor turns over, your problem is your solenoid. If the starter motor refuses to turn over, then your problem is the starter motor.

Honda schematics

Clean battery terminals first, make sure ALL wires are clean and tight! Trace the large hot (+) wire from battery to the solenoid, then trace the large wire output (+) from OTHER TERMINAL directly to the starter connection. The starter is ALREADY grounded.
Get a fresh, fully charged battery, make sure the ignition switch is on, handle bar switch in run position. Push the start button. It should at least turn the engine over!! If this does not work, leave the ignition switch on, jump the two large solenoid terminals with large screwdriver, (SPARKS WILL FLY!!) and see if it tries to start USING THE SCREWDRIVER ONLY!..If it tries to start..or does start, replace the solenoid, (disconnect battery first). If not, check battery amperage and voltage!!
