Did it have compression before you bought it?
No power to the electric starter? Then you probably have no power to the ignition system. I'd check battery connections. Is the battery going flat overnight? Some shorts. Is there an ignition with a key? Is the switch good? or all the connections good? Corrosion does some funny things. Fuses may look good but actually are not.
Compression, yes. The battery I just bought today, and nothin. I've tied other batteries on and used chargers, and same thing, nothin.

No spark, however the engine turns over? Bad CDI
You said no power, what does that mean, whn you turn the key theres nothing or do you mean there is no power meaning acceleration, I think you mean no power IE, nuthin, so with that you need to make sure cables are tight, turn on the switch thatpowers the unit, turn gas on, plug wire tight, if that isn't working check your wire to the starter and or get a new ignition for it its dead or while still installed on the unit get a volt meter and check the ignition with it, there ya go.
Hi there
I am sure the CDI unit is blown, and also have the voltage regulator (charge circuit) checked before you replace the CDI unit, as this is usually the cause (current surge) of a blown CDI, or when removing the battery terminal when the motor is running.

Phillip
Will do. Thank you.

SOURCE: had new key made on an 04 polaris 700 now it trys
it sounds like your starter solenoid is stuck. Locate the solenoid and check for continuity between the positive and negative poles right on top of it. If there is continuity between the poles in the off position, your solenoid is stuck and probably needs to be replaced.
Yes you do or just go to the store that you bought it or return it to the person that you bought it from. Thanks for my option
If it will not spin over, check for battery voltage to the starter. If there is 12 volt to the battery connection on the starter while the start button is being pressed then the starter has gone bad. If there is not any voltage to the starter while pressing the start button, check for blown fuses and the starter solenoid, usually under the seat near the battery, and starter relay, also near the battery.
SOURCE: how do you put a Polaris Predator 500 in reverse
1. Place the transmission in first gear
2. Rotate the lockout switch forward to unlock reverse gear
3. Shift into reverse gear
When you shift back out of reverse gear, the lockout switch will reengage automatically to prevent accidental shifting into reverse
