I suspect that you will need the sender unit replaced. Check to make sure that it can be repaired under your warranty or if there has been a recall on your model.

i dont understand your question. should have sight glass on engine or a dipstick . check level by removing dipstick if equipped . check w engine cold before starting every time you want to ride. should be inside full marks or you can damage engine. sight glass should be full of oil if you can see silver inside glass dont start or ride. damage will occur.

Why is gas dripping/runnng out bottom overflow line of carb?

Could be one of the carb floats is stuck or the rollover caused it to come off its mounting position. As fuel enters the carb, the float rises with the fuel level until it reaches a position that shuts off any more fuel entering the float chamber and prevents an overflow. Fuel level drops, float drops and fuel flows again. Basically like the cistern in a toilet.

Why won't it idle without choke?

Fuel supply problem somewhere. How is the float adjustment and the float valve? I'd guess the level adjustment is too low.

How can I get my gas gauge fixed

If it's reading any fuel level, it may be a faulty sender unit. This should be repairable under your warranty.
If it's not reading fuel at all, then there is most likely a loose wire. This should also be repairable under your warranty. Your dealer should be able to fix that for you in a few minutes.

What to do when fourwheeler wonts start

  1. check the battery
  2. Make sure kill switch is not engaged
  3. Check gas level
  4. Does the ATV have a safety tether? If so reseat it.
  5. Make sure gas is on, some atvs have switch.
  6. Also check to make sure you are not running on reserve tank.

My 2003 polaris predator 90cc will start for a few seconds the power sports shop said the oil pump isn't working but it's all still hooked up now when u give it gas it boggs and dies could I be overloading...

Hey Anon, READ this over and over.. then read it again...
First, decide whether you are going to run an oil pump or not. I would recommend NOT running one if you are going to race this ATV.. properly premixed fuel/oil will never fail.. an oil pump can/will/HAS...
Remove and plug/seal all oil passages to and from the oil pump, seal the oil entrance connection to the cylinder with a good gasket sealer -NOT SILICONE - gasoline breaks it down!!
The only jets in a carburetor that ever need replacing, under normal situations, are the needle jet/jet needle combination-these wear out and are replaced as a set! There is no need to "re-jet" an unmodified engine until you get approx. 1000ft above sea level, then dropping the main jet ONE size usually works..(sometimes only raising the jet needle circlip two notches works if the bike isn't ran wide open for long distances).
NOW - - You decided to remove the oil pump - Drain all the gas out of the tank.. have a QUALIFIED PROFESSIONAL clean and set the carburetor! Run a premix of QUALITY two-cycle oil at 24:1.. this WILL protect your engine under all/racing conditions!! NEVER- -NEVER try to get your engine running cleaner by reducing your oil mixture!!!! Always use the same oil mixture/ratio - spark plugs are much cheaper than pistons!!!! FIND a great two-cycle engine tuner that can "read a spark plug"....It's hard to find a really good two-cycle tuner than can actually "read" a spark plug....
I can tell if your timing is too advanced or too retarded, if your oil mixture is correct,.. if your jetting is correct.. your combustion chamber area is correct,...ALL by looking at your spark plug!!
.... I see amateur "tuners" and guys that call themselves mechanics try to get a two cycle engine running cleaner by reducing the oil mixture - (adjusting the oil/fuel).. and eventually end up frying the engine.. and they can't figure out why>>???
DO NOT mix more than you are going to use each time!!... (use the left over to kill weeds).. DO NOT put it in your vehicles - IT WILL (burning oil) clog your catalytic convert!!
Have you done any modifications to this engine? If so, then you need to find a qualified pro who knows how to read a spark plug and "jet" the engine accordingly.
... Do you live near North Alabama?.. I could help...
..If you are going to race this ATV, please find a good mechanic/tuner that can help...

MY BEST ADVICE - SUSPENSION TUNING will make her go faster than engine mods!!! (the faster it goes.. the better it MUST handle.. make it handle FIRST!!!
Contact any/all of these folks.. ask for their recommendations...(DO NOT overstate her abilities.. this will only hurt!!)

Reset gas gauge

Jack up the back as high as possible and then let it fall. Do this over and over until it shows full. That is what I did and it's fine now.
