My Kawasaki 4010 Mule 4x4 diesel blows a fuse every time I use the brakes. What do I look for?

Something is shorting to earth on the brake lights.

Get a pack of fuses.

Remove left side bulb. Brake, does is blow the fuse?
Remove right side bulb. Brake, does it blow the fuse?
If yes to the above, it is the light fitting or wiring rubbed through to that light.

If no, it is the switch or wiring to the switch on the brake pedal.

2003 kodiak 400 2x4, as soon as the ignition key is turned on the 30 amp fuse by the blows.

You have a dead short . Disconnect the battery , set your volt meter to read ohms and send a current from each position on the ignition switch to the fuse block where the fuse is blowing . You should be able to trace the problem quite quickly .

Kawasaki mule 610 blowing fuses what could be causing this , 2013 ?

Had a mule which blew main fuse every time I put in reverse. Turned out the back up switch was shorted. If you can tell at what point the fuse is blowing, may help find the problem.

Atv trouble shooting

Whoops, can you tell me why you changed the fuse and what happened before that, and are you sure it wad a 30 amp that's awfully high, what was the fuse for on the machine, and sometimes it will blow fuses if they are too high not good, and plus doo you have any accessories you have added to the machine? Might be battery not grounded, like if it gets wet will blow the fuses, and an overload of amperage more details unless this helps ya

Why would my commander Keep blowing the ignition/injector fuse?

Disconnect and clean all the earth wires, never use a higher than recommended fuse or you may have a fire.Check for rust on the earth wires also.

What would make the fuse under the seat keep blowing

There has to be a short in the line somewhere in order for the fuse to constantly blow. A wire has rubbed against some steel and is causing the fuse to blow. trace the fuse to the link....such as the lights or rear light and check the socket or wiring for a short.

I would look for any excessive water or moisture hidden in an electrical component, or corrosion in any connection points..

The main 30amp fuse keeps blowing on our klf300

follow it until you find the short. the wire may have rubbed raw against a metal part. Happens a lot. remove the fuse and put an ohm meter to the frame and to either side of the wire where the fuse mounts. It will tell you which direction from that point to follow
