My 04-1/2 polaris 700 twin seems to have fuel problems

Did your machine not come with one from the dealer? Is your machine fuel injected?

If motor has to constantly charge a battery while running, it could use a bit more fuel.

if its EFI its an injector, it not fuel injected, its a carb issue

You need to inspect all gas lines for obstructions including the gas tank , and especially the carb. I can bet dollars to doughnuts that it's a fuel problem something is blocking the fuel and by rocking it it's allowing the fuel to go through. hope this helps , let me know how you make out .
