Check the main fuse to the ignition switch.It will either come directly from the battery + terminal or pick up from the "hot" meaning "positive" side of the starter motor relay. If it comes from the relay you will locate it by following the main "positive" lead from the battery. From the relay you can then trace it to the main fuses. Hope this helps you out.
Run some Sea Foam in the gas it will clean the carb sounds like a sticky jet or dirty carb the Sea Foam will clean the carb of any residue or deposits that have built up in the carb over time causing it to malfunction you can get the Sea Foam at most parts stores and its cheap stuff and works awesome.
like doing an auto --jack up vehicle remove wheel rotor and brakes to access the ball joint --they are pressed in --remove lock bolt separate from spindle remove locking c- clip and either buy borrow or rent a ball joint press and remove ball joint replace is in reverse
