Have a 2007 kawasaki ksf50. has no fire

Not getting power to the coil. but coil is good. What would cause no fire before the coil? I have also checked the fuse under the seat and the safety cord on the rear. I have what seems like is some kind of fuse, it says d421 TA Young 12vdc 20a. was wondering if that could be the problem?

An immobiliser is a common feature of modern cars and bikes and if it is a feature of your machine, if it isn't working correctly it is likely to prevent power reaching the coil.

I suggest you read your handbook before you go further.

SOURCE: bike only fires once

Okay, let's have a look at it. Say Ahaaa.
The probable cause of the problem is not the spark. Get a fresh set of Stock NGK spark plugs, ground the plus to the engine, and check each cylinder for spark as the starter button is pressed for 3 seconds or so. I will wager that the spark is present.

The likely problem is the fresh gas was put into a very rusty gas tank. Bits of rust now inhabit your carb and are having fun plugging up the carb. Look at the gas valve. With a little luck there is a small bowl behind the valve. Remove it and tell me what you see in the bowl.

SOURCE: can't get any spark on rear left ignition coil

I didn't notice the year of the bike but
the orange wire comes directly from your TCI ignitor unit.
It might be a faulty pickup coil or the ignitor unit itself.
the pickup coils are in the right engine case and
have about 110 ohms resistance.
If there is no ohms reading on the pickup coil then
it is faulty.
If the pickup pulse coils are good then your
main ignitor unit is probably faulty.
Sometimes the solder joints can crack in them.

SOURCE: Kawasaki three wheeler won't start

so yo have an electronic ignition then. Id be suspiciious of the little 'black box' that comprises the system.

Electronic ignition is teriffic while it works, and they have a good track record. When it quits ... id much rather work on the points type.

Aside from checking the adjustment on the electronic ignition, I dont think there is much you can do with them

There is no power to the coil

If you have a multimeter you can OHM out your coil. You can call or e-mail Artic Cat for OHM specifications. If your coil ohm's out good.. check your Alternator for power output.
