disconnect hose line no drain valve

How much fuel in oil... or rather; is oil level high and smells of fuel? High oil level with fuel would imply an injector is sticking open.

It is liquid cooled... is it losing coolant?

Check condition of plugs. If oil fouled, replace and see if it will start/run. If still no start, pull plugs to see if they are saturated with fuel which would imply a stuck injector.

If it start/runs after replacing plugs, replace oil. If it continues to smoke is it white, black, or blue color?.

Ok,, first, If you did not get GENUINE Honda replacement parts for your carb, get the junk out and put the original parts back in, NOW !!!- Take this carb to a PROFESSIONAL MECHANIC and have him clean and set it!!!

Check your meter for a zero reading. If your meter can't be zeroed or does not have a relative measure then subtract the reading you get when you touch probe tips. Regardless, a few ohms is not likely the problem.

Check valve clearance. Maintenance schedule shows to check every 100 hrs. I believe clearance is 0.006 in. cold for both intake and exhaust.

Okay I see your answer. I will research this tomorrow but my first instinct is that two volts is probably right. The pulses are low voltage and trigger the spark electronically using low voltage power which is then amplified. .

This is a complicated problem.. it could be in the rear differential... or the crankshaft, or the transmission... this is a job for a professional mechanic...

Check to see of water soaked the air filter(remove the filter and see how it runs!!)

Well, it was probably not the starter causing the knock. Does it knock while running? I really need more info.. please repost with more details.

First, make sure the gas tank is full!! Install a NEW spark plug. Make sure the kill switch is in the ON position. If this doesn't do it.. Time for a little more serious investigation.. Is the carburetor getting gad to it?.. there is a little screw in the bottom of the carb(flat head?).. loosen it a little (a couple turns and gas should run out),,, if it does shut the screw off.(this is good) If not, you have found the problem. Beyond this, you need a professional mechanic to help you.
