what year ? 1999 should be 15 to 20 mm intake on exh 18 to 23 mm i think depending on year. they run tight. adj at tdc on comp stroke with valves open far as they can. have to rotate eng for each valve to open fully and independently one opens and other closes at same time. should be very quiet if adj correctly.adj the closed valve only when fully closed

first I'd clean the carb, new spark plug. I've seen a bad cdi cause that but thats the last thing I'd check cause $$$

Have you tried to lower the idle? When an Auto/5speed shiftable transmission is stopped in gear the drivetrain holds it back or loads it down a bit. If you take off a load the idle will rise. Sounds like your idle is too high. Do you have your idle set high to keep it from stalling?

the solenoid has gone bad most likely. if that checks ok, could be the keyswitch, kill switch or neutral safety switch.

a large hammer and lots of effort. if the center has come out you can cut the outer ring with a dremel cutting disc.

T is usually the mark on the flywheel and there's usually a mark on the cam sprocket and head to line up. you can google up a service manual too most likely.

How do you know they are gas lines? Are they the same diameter? Why are they not still connected?Does this ATV have a fuel pump? If so they probably connect to the pump.. one is the fuel line and one is a vacuum line... the other probably an overflow.

timing may have jumped and bent the intake valve causing it to blow back into the carb on the compression stroke.

clean your carb, check for compression.

thats normal. probably a bad wire in the cable and by taking it off you made it reconnect.

no. idle is a thumb screw on the side of the carb. (I think, mine was an older model)
